HEART-Beet Pancakes

Enjoy these anytime, not just Valentine’s Day! They are both delicious and nutritious!

  1. 1/2 medium to large roasted and peeled beet

  2. 2/3 cup almond milk

  3. 1 large egg

  4. 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil

  5. 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt

  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  7. 2/3 cup quick oats (gluten free oats if needed)

  8. 1 teaspoon baking powder

  9. 1/2 banana

  10. pinch of salt

Mix all ingredients in a blender and cook over medium heat. Use your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Pancakes de Remolacha

  1. 1/2 remolacha, asado y pelado

  2. 2/3 tazas leche de almendra sin azúcar

  3. 1/3 taza yogurt Griego simple

  4. 1 cdta extracto de vainilla puro

  5. 2/3 taza hojuelas de avena integral enteras

  6. 1 cdta polvo de hornear

  7. 1/2 banano maduro

  8. Pizca de sal

Coloque todos los ingredientes en una licuadora o procesador de alta potencia hasta mezclar bien. Cocine los panqueques a fuego medio. Utilice sus toppings favoritos y disfrute.
